US Coast Guard C-27J Spartan on Runway

The Coast Guard assigns operational C-27J Spartan medium range surveillance aircraft to Coast Guard Air Station Sacramento in California, June 1, 2016. The air station is the first to receive C-27Js and is scheduled to reach initial operational capability the end of June.The C-27Js will replace the station’s HC-130H Hercules long range surveillance aircraft.
