MRAP Convoy

A convoy of U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 820th Base Defense Group and mine-resistant, ambush protected vehicles patrol a road Oct. 6, 2016, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The 820th BDG simulated a deployed environment at the military operations in an urban terrain village showcasing a variety of capabilities to include detecting improvised explosive devices and securing hostile areas during Maj. Gen. Scott Zobrist’s, 9th Air Force commander, first official visit to the 93rd Air Ground Operations Wing since taking command in May 2016. He was accompanied by Chief Master Sgt. Frank H. Batten III, 9th Air Force command chief.
