MRAP on snow trail

Soldiers operating with coalition special operations forces dig out a vehicle stuck in the snow in Shah Joy district, Zabul province, Afghanistan, Feb. 20. During the winter months portions of Afghanistan can accumulate up to four feet of snow, affecting Combined Forces’ operations support of the government of Afghanistan. Vehicle recovery efforts demonstrate coalition forces dedication to the government of Afghanistan and maintaining stability in the region.
