A T-38 Talon from Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., stops to refuel before continuing on to its next destination April 28, 2015, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The T-38 is primarily used for joint specialized undergraduate pilot training, but the aircraft is also used for its companion training program and to test experimental equipment.
