Military Machine Original
27 Aircraft. One American Flag. One T-Shirt.

Made for people who actually know aircraft
If you cannot tell an F-14 from an F-15 by the engine spacing, this shirt is not for you. If you can, you will spot every plane in seconds.
100+ years of US air power on one piece of cotton
From wood-and-canvas biplanes to fifth-generation stealth, the print is a vertical timeline of the airframes that built the air force.
Patriotic without being a costume
Tasteful color, real flag proportions, no eagles screaming over a sunset. You can wear this somewhere your in-laws will be.

The Design
Look closer. Every stripe is a different airplane.
Most flag t-shirts use the flag because the flag is patriotic. This one uses the flag because the flag has stripes, and you can fit a US military aircraft on every single one.
The print runs chronologically. Bottom stripe: a wood-and-fabric biplane from the closing days of World War One. Top stripe: a fifth-generation stealth fighter that costs more per hour to fly than a small house. In between, every era of US military aviation in red silhouette: WW2 piston fighters and heavy bombers, Korean War jets, the Phantoms and Thunderchiefs of Vietnam, the teen-series fighters that defined the late Cold War, the Warthog, the Raptor, the Lightning II.
The canton stays the way it should. Fifty white stars on field of blue, exactly where it belongs. Nothing fancy, nothing tacked on. The cleverness is in the stripes.
The Challenge
Can you name all 27?
27 US military aircraft, chronological from bottom to top, biplanes through fifth-generation stealth. We confirmed 12 on sight. The other 15 are your job.

Questions
The stuff you would actually want to know.
How does the sizing run?
Standard unisex sizing. If you are between two sizes and want a relaxed fit, go up. If you want it fitted, stay at your normal tee size. Sizes S through 3XL.
How is the print done?
Full-color screen-printed on the front of the shirt. The aircraft silhouettes stay sharp and legible at arm's length, which is the whole point. Wash inside-out cold to keep the print looking good for years.
Why 27 aircraft and not, say, 13?
Because that is how many it takes to walk through every era of US military aviation, from the closing months of WW1 through the F-35. Each era is represented. The chronology runs bottom to top.
Can I get the same design on something other than a shirt?
Yes. The same design is available as an insulated tumbler, a stainless steel water bottle, an iPhone case, and a PopSocket. Links are at the bottom of this page.
Where does the shirt ship from?
It ships from Amazon and is Prime-eligible. Standard Amazon return policy applies. We do not handle fulfillment ourselves.
Is Military Machine the brand?
Yes. Military Machine designed and curated this collection. When you click through to Amazon, we receive a small affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. That commission is what funds the articles, this-day timelines, and the rest of the site.
Last Call
Wear something only an enthusiast would notice.
