Our first Army meme kicks off with a bang. There is no denying that the Army loves to get down and dirty (especially in the mud pits of the obstacle course during basic training). Yet, they are not afraid to get a little wet when they are outdoors.
Raining outside? The perfect time to go for a run. Or do some kind of training. No wonder why they’re called ‘Army Strong’. No need for a poncho, soldier. Just start running.
In the Army, they are taught to learn and respect their rifles (and other weapons). While a machete may not be a weapon for soldiers, it can be used for something useful like cutting through thick vegetation and the like.
This daredevil soldier looks like he’s about ready to catch this blade after tossing it around. But it looks like he’s going to catch it on the wrong end. Talk about a trick gone wrong. Time for the safety briefing on how NOT to handle sharp objects.
While discarded rounds are not fun to pick up after some serious firing at the range, why not make the best out of a crappy situation. This soldier right here decided to make a ‘freedom angel’. However, this is not an ideal winter weather situation to be going this.
These defenders of freedom take pride in defending our country every day. But they still need to clean up the mess after having a bit of fun sharpening their marksmanship skills.
In an homage to one of the most iconic lines of the movie ‘Titanic’, the Army decided to take it upon themselves to make their own version. Three soldiers working together when one of them decides to re-enact the scene. Before the Army does anything, they request permission such as to ‘speak freely’ and the like.

Our next military meme may not apply to just the Army, but any other branch that wears camo gear. Imagine that not working to your advantage except your grandma’s couch (which looks exactly like the camo you wear). So why not get your grandma to send the couch to your base or wherever you are doing combat training? You’ll blend in quite nicely it seems. Casual Friday at any workplace is typically a t-shirt and jeans at the office (as opposed to the usual attire). But for one soldier, it seems that he takes it a little too far. He’s got his helmet and his backpack. However, he decides that today might have been the day to show up for work wearing a t-shirt and boxers.
If you’re an Army soldier, there really is no such thing as ‘Casual Friday’ in the field (or on-duty).
There’s always a running joke where lieutenants don’t have a clue what they’re doing (or where they are going), even with a map. Unfortunately, for this group of soldiers, what appeared to be a harmless mud puddle ended up being something more. And their humvee since to the bottom of what appears to be a mud pit.
Is it really a puddle or did the LT lead us into a small lake and we didn’t know about it?
If there is one thing that can get someone on the bad side of an Army wife, it’s taking the words ‘sweep the house’ out of context. When soldiers sweep the area, they are searching for threats that may be in the area. But frustrating as it is, the wife will ask ‘what are you doing’ when you’re in full combat gear and your rifle is out and about.
Sometimes, mistaking household chores for the usual military lingo might just put you in the doghouse.
If there is one thing that Army soldiers are known for, it’s handling a lot of stress. So a college final may not be as stressful to them compared to the average student. Yes, you can study for them for a long as possible. And the difficulty can be stressful to say the least.
But Army soldiers are trained to be in stressful situations all the time (be it combat or otherwise). No need to stress, soldier. You’ve got this covered.
The Army Rangers are known for leading the way. But according to this Army meme, it might not go the way that it’s planned. Especially when one ranger forgets to move a certain piece of equipment from his rifle while he’s one the move. All jokes aside, the Army Rangers are hands down one of the best fighting forces in the military.
You could consider them to be the Army’s answer to the US Navy SEALs. Nonetheless, they are light, small, and dangerous.
When the new recruits step off the bus for basic training, the first person they are greeted by is none other than a drill sergeant. They are inches away from your face and yelling at you to “do this” or “do that”. For some, it can be a scary experience (and scare you straight).
For some, they may be thinking “uh…what if I just joined the Air Force’? Nah, kid. You’re in the Army now. Might as well stay. A hilarious Army meme!
Flew a plane recently? Didn’t like the leg room? Ah…the Army has seen worse. In fact, these military planes make leg room on a commercial flight look a lot more generous. Not to mention, those seats look kind of uncomfortable. So maybe spending $150 on a flight may not seem so bad.
Then again, there’s always that one crying baby or the snoozing passenger right next to you. But hey, you can take up the small amount of legroom you can get.
This next to last military meme speaks a lot of truth. A lot of us complain about that “hard day” of work. For the Army, they work long hours. And they are mostly in stressful situations (especially when they are combat-related). So it’s always important to give them their thanks.
The hard work and dedication of our soldiers (and members of our military) should never go unnoticed or unappreciated. Civilian life can be handled well for someone who is a soldier. A hilarious Army meme!
We’re not sure if it was mud or not. But this photo makes for a great meme between enlistees of the Army and the officers who lead and command. The enlisted Army members are lower ranked, so whatever the commanding officer says goes. If you’re a former Soldier, you might have some stories about doing some grunt work as an enlistee.
